ASAP Tickets is a travel agency that is well known for their airline ticket deals and packages. They’ve been around since 2001. In addition to airfare deals, they offer hotel packages, car rentals, concierge, fun experiences, and even completely customized itineraries. They can act as your one-stop-shop for a trip.

ASAP Tickets Review

Since many of the ASAP Tickets reviews online are either horribly negative or a little too good, we decided to make an honest review to set the record straight.

How It Works

When you arrive at their website, you’ll be greeted with a bunch of excellent example deals to reel you in. There is a form to fill out your desired trip (including dates, number of travelers, round-trip or one-way, and other information). When you scroll a little lower, there are plenty of positive reviews.

Once you fill out the form, you click search and they find your travel deals (flights only). They will share a price, but you need to fill out your information to get an exact price quote. The price they give you here will not be the exact price.

It also doesn’t share any flight details like airline, layover information, or time. Although the travel agent will let you know when you call to book, it will be more difficult to be picky when booking a flight through this company.

Many ASAP Tickets reviews mentioned they provide a low price to get you to sign up, then say it’s no longer available and quote you a much higher price. The company states they can’t give you the exact price on the website because they’re phone-only deals. You need to speak with a customer service representative to book your deal.

How does the company actually work? They have access to unpublished fares negotiated by ITN and partner consolidators that do not sell directly to the general public. Rather than selling to travel agents, ASAP tickets sells directly to passengers. They work with hundreds of different airlines – including both domestic flights and international flights.

Lowest Fare Guarantee

ASAP Tickets is confident that their bulk private fares are the lowest prices on the market. Their Low Fare Guarantee ensures this. If you find a better price and call within 24 hours from the purchase of your ticket, they will match the price and send a $50 voucher towards your next purchase.

You simply need to provide a copy of the itinerary from any of their competitors (identical itinerary including the fare basis and fare calculation information).

If you’re unsure about ASAP tickets’ credibility, this price guarantee is a good boost of confidence.

Other Services

In addition to flights, ASAP Tickets offers package deals with hotels and more. You can add activities to your vacation package including shows, and museum tickets (just to name a few). This is similar to Airbnb experiences. If you want to go all out, they can even schedule your car rental and concierge. Basically, they can design your entire itinerary if you’d like!

The home page shares flight deals, but they have another section for these package vacation deals. Once again, this page has you fill out your information including travel dates and locations. They will then quote you a price and insist you call (or fill out your information so their customer service team can call you).

ASAP Tickets Customer Service

ASAP Tickets has quite the customer service team. Not only do they offer a 24/7 customer service through email, but they can answer in English, Spanish, Tagalog, Cebuano, French, German, Hindu, Italian, Russian, Romanian, Hebrew, Pidgin, Igbo, Yoruba, Swahili, Ibibio, Arabic, Lebanese, Syrian, and even more. They have seven different phone numbers for different countries.

More than one ASAP Tickets complaint shared that the company is dishonest and has terrible customer service. Even with this extensive team of agents, many people complained about their customer service quality whenever issues arose.

Cancellation + Refund Policy

Unfortunately, many ASAP Tickets purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Depending on the airline, you might be allowed to get a refund or exchange with an expensive penalty fee. If this is available, your ASAP Tickets travel agent will quote it during the initial purchase.

If an airline allows for exchanges, a $250 processing fee will be charged along with any airlines penalty and fare difference. This is the same for refunds (minus the fare difference).

On a side note, make sure to fill out your information correctly. The ASAP Tickets cancellation policy does allow a 24 hour grace period to fix any typos or mistakes, but you will incur heavy fees after this grace period. Even a small mistake can be a major inconvenience.

ASAP Tickets Reviews From Real Customers

On their website, you’ll find a section they created themselves for customer reviews. They state that they’re all real. As for other platforms, the reviews are all over the place. SiteJabber has a very high rating, Pissed Consumer is in the middle, and TrustPilot is very good. You’ll see many negative experiences, but plenty of positive experiences as well.

However, it’s very simple to post a review on these websites. You can see that many of the TrustPilot and SiteJabber reviewers have posted only 1 review in their lifetime (for ASAP Tickets – however, they do say verified order).

Alternatives

ASAPtickets doesn’t have to be your only option for saving money on airline tickets, hotels, and other travel activities. There are plenty of websites that will provide you with the best deals. CheapFlightAlerts, for example, sends you handy email alerts whenever new deals arise from your chosen airport.

There is also a number of other websites to find deals including Skyscanner, Kayak, Fareboom, BookingWiz, and more.

Is ASAP Tickets Legit?

While we wouldn’t say it’s a scam, there are many ASAP Tickets reviews that would cause hesitation before purchasing. You might want to study feedback from customers and negative circumstances they’ve had before deciding to purchase. However, every company has negative reviews. Plenty of customers have had positive experiences with the company and saved money. They’re most praised for their deals on last minute flights, so it might be a good last resort.
